Diamonds & Pearls

The Red Dress project is our first look into evening wear at Jefferson. I based this huge project around the beauty of ballet and the harsh reality of what these ballerinas go through for their results, including the tolls it takes on their bodies from the techniques and pointe shoes. This process included draping on the form and on a live model, which was a first for me, and I had to learn to adjust accordingly for the perfect sizing.
